  9. macros to run on the computer and YOU WILL NOT SEE THE RoofCOST MENU. 
  10. To see menu, switch to "Medium" security. 
  11. (How to switch: Tools > Macro > Security (select "Medium")- (SEE ITEM 3 BELOW)

  13. ****  How to start RoofCost Estimator  ********************************
  14. After the RoofCost.exe file is unzipped, all program files shall be installed 
  15. (by default) in a folder called C:\RoofCost Estimator.
  16.  
  17. 1. Go to the installation folder (Default is C:\RoofCost Estimator).
  18. 2. Double click on RoofCost.xls file. This shall start your MS Excel program 
  19. and open the RoofCost.xls file.
  20.

  23. 1. Start your MS Excel program.
  24. 2. By using the File > Open function of MS Excel, open the file called 
  25. RoofCost.xls in installation folder (Default is C:\RoofCost Estimator).

  48. 3. Excel's Macro Security messages.
  49.  
  50. Excel's "High" level macro security will not allow Excel macros to run on the 
  51. computer. The standard setting is "Medium". If your setting is at "High", you 
  52. should switch to "Medium" security in order to run the program.
  53.  
  54. Excel's "Medium" level macro security warns users when files with macros are 
  55. opened. At this point, click on "Enable Macros" button. 
  56.  
  57. To change level of security:
  58.  
  59. > In the Tools menu, point to Macro, and then click Security.
  60. > Click the Security Level tab, and then click the option you prefer.
  61.  
  62. 4. User registration unlocks time limited restriction.
  63.  
  64. 5. RoofCOST Estimator is a Shareware product. This means that in 
  65. order to legally use it beyond the 7-day evaluation period, you must purchase 
  66. it.

  68. You may register your copy of RoofCOST Estimator as follows:

  70. By Mail: Make out and mail check or money order for $39.00 to CPR International, 
  71. Inc., P.O. Box 6394, Folsom, CA 95763. Upon receipt, we will call or email you 
  72. with your Authorization Code.
  73.  
  74. By Fax: Fax registration and payment method to 916-351-9782. Upon receipt, we 
  75. will call or email you with your Authorization Code.
  76.  
  77. By Email: Email registration and payment method to cpr@cprsoft.com. Upon 
  78. receipt, we will call or email you with your Authorization Code.

  80. By Phone: Call 916-351-9782 with your registration and payment method. We will 
  81. provide your Authorization Code at that time or by return of call.

  83. After the 7-day trial period, RoofCOST Estimator will cease to function.

  85. Once you register RoofCOST Estimator and receive your Authorization Code, enter it in the 
  86. main screen.

  88. This will cause your copy of RoofCOST Estimator to become a legally registered copy 
  89. licensed for one (1) user.
